changing. More corporations and bankers became involved in the industry. These folks,

understandably, want as quick a return on their investment as possible. So, in pursuit of

maximizing their investment they stayed more to the "tried and true" ways in the music

business. They researched what sort of music in what genre sold more music? And they

invested in that direction consistently. And, I know you will agree with me when I say

that I can't blame them for wanting the maximum return on their investment. However,

new bands with new sounds have suffered as a result, and have been overlooked.
